PayGround, a Gilbert, AZ-based healthcare fintech payments platform, raised a $19.7M oversubscribed Series A financing led by SixThirty, with participation from Rally Ventures, IA Capital Group, FCA Venture Partners, and Plug and Play Ventures. The funding will bolster the StartUp Health company’s rapid expansion into hospitals and health systems, building on its success in the ambulatory market, as well as grow its senior leadership team. <source>

This week’s reported health innovation funding included:

RepeatMD, a SaaS company leveraging inbound revenue to increase sales for aesthetic and wellness practices, raised $50M co-led by Centana Growth Partners and Full In Partners, with participation from PROOF, Mercury Fund, and $10M debt facility from Silicon Valley Bank. <source>

Alto Neuroscience, a Los Altos, CA-based mental health company, raised $45M led by InVivium Capital, with participation from Franklin Templeton, Point72, Eli Lilly and Company, Alexandria Venture Investments, Alpha Wave Ventures, Lightswitch Capital, partners of Alkeon Capital, WhatIf Ventures, and Windham Venture Partners. <source>

Vivodyne, a Philadelphia, PA-based biotech company using clinically predictive AI for drug development, raised $38M led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from Kairos Ventures, CS Ventures, MBX Capital, and Bison Ventures. <source>

Phare Health, a London, England, UK-based startup that is building fintech tools for hospitals in the UK and Europe, raised £2.5M ($3.1M) led by General Catalyst. <source>

Augment Therapy, a Cleveland, OH-based digital health company enhancing rehabilitative healthcare through immersive and gamified technology, raised $2.7M from BlueTree Capital Group; CareSource; The Healthcare Collaboration Fund, jointly managed by JumpStart and University Hospital Ventures; VisionTech; and angel investors. <source>

Waspito, a Douala, Cameroon-based telehealth startup where users can instantly connect with doctors, raised $2.5M from DP World through Newtown Partners, Saviu Ventures, AAIC Investment, Axian Ventures, and CFAO’s Health54. <source>

1nhaler, an Edinburgh, Scotland, UK-based drug delivery device developer, raised £2M ($2.5M) led by Archangels, with participation from Dr Yusuf Hamied, British Business Investments (BBI), and seed investors. <source>

Aelius Biotech, a Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, UK-based testing services provider for pharmaceutical and nutrition companies, raised £1.25M ($1.6M) led by North East Venture Fund, with participation from the European Regional Development Fund and Mercia Ventures. <source>
