This week's health innovation funding focuses on proactive health solutions, with a surge in AI-powered tools for drug development, mood detection, and sexual wellness, alongside support for caregivers, substance use, and tele-mental health.

This week’s reported health innovation funding included:

Talkiatry, a New York, NY-based provider of telepsychiatry services, raised $130M led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) with participation from Perceptive Advisors. Debt financing was provided by Banc of California. <source>

Enveda Biosciences, a Boulder, CO-based biotechnology company using AI to develop new medicines, raised $55M from Premji Invest, Lingotto Investment Fund, Microsoft, The Nature Conservancy, Kinnevik, True Ventures, FPV, Level Ventures, and Jazz Venture Partners. <source>

Avava, a Waltham, MA-based medical aesthetics platform company, raised $35M from Jeisys Medical, Catalio Capital Management, and others. <source>

Nomad Health, a New York, NY-based digital marketplace for healthcare jobs, raised $22M led by HealthQuest Capital, with participation from Adams Street, Icon Ventures, Polaris Partners, .406 Ventures, and RRE Ventures. <source>

Better Health, a San Francisco, CA-based medical supply and support provider, raised $14M from Healthworx, UHealth – University of Miami Health System, and Mosaic General Partnership. <source>

Canary Speech, a Provo, UT-based developer of AI-enabled speech analysis software to detect mood, stress, and energy levels prior to clinical screenings, raised $13M led by Cortes Capital (Love's Private Equity), with participation from SMK, Hackensack Meridian Health, and Sorenson Communications. <source>

Marigold Health, a Boston, MA-based substance use peer support startup, raised $11M led by Rock Health and Innospark Ventures, with participation from Commonwealth Care Alliance, Wavemaker360, Stand Together Ventures Lab, Epsilon Health Investors, Koa Labs, VNS Health Plan, and KdT Ventures. <source>

Grayce, a San Francisco, CA-based caregiver support startup, raised $10.4M led by Maveron, with participation from BBG Ventures, Correlation Ventures, GingerBread Capital, Alumni Ventures, Visible Ventures, Gaingels, and What If Ventures. <source>

Auxilius, a New York, NY-based provider of clinical trial financial management software, raised $10M led by SignalFire. <source>

Arya, an AI-driven sexual wellness platform for couples, raised $7.5M co-led by Patron and Play Ventures, with participation from At.inc/, Heracles Capital, and individual investors. <source>

Alyve Health, a Mumbai, India-based health tech platform that provides comprehensive healthcare services, raised $5.5M led by Axilor Ventures, with participation from 1Crowd Fund and Inhealth Ventures. Venture debt funding from Trifecta Capital was also part of this round. <source>

Rivia, a Zurich, Switzerland-based startup specializing in AI-driven analytics and clinical trial data infrastructure for biotech, raised €3M ($3.2M) led by Speedinvest. <source>

Real World Health, a London, UK-based healthcare data analytics company, raised £1.7M ($2.2M) led by Maven Capital Partners, with participation from Dowgate Capital. <source>

Hazel Health, a San Francisco, CA-based telehealth provider that focuses on school-based solutions for mental health services, raised $1.5M from UnitedHealthcare Community and the State of Iowa. <source>
